STAR Legal Nurse Consulting Services first opened in May, 2006, after owner Vickie Bruce completed the rigorous CLNC® certification program through the company that pioneered the field of legal nurse consulting.
As a RN with 15 years of nursing experience, owner Vickie Bruce has the medical expertise to quickly pinpoint and interpret medical and nursing issues in any case involving health or injury. Her 13 years in the hospital setting includes nursing at the bedside, case management, management, administration, and accreditation processes at both national and state levels. Medical areas of experience include rehab, medical-surgical, surgical acute, cardiac, renal, respiratory and diabetes.
She is a member of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (CM), American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, American Nurses Association, Sarasota County Chamber of Commerce and the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce.
